{"id":46844,"date":"2019-08-30T06:01:37","date_gmt":"2019-08-30T05:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.portomirabello.it\/?p=46844"},"modified":"2020-10-16T12:04:31","modified_gmt":"2020-10-16T10:04:31","slug":"porto-mirabello-and-isps-assessment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portomirabello.it\/en\/porto-mirabello-and-isps-assessment\/","title":{"rendered":"Porto Mirabello and ISPS assessment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Porto Mirabello is one of the few, in the Mediterranean area, suitable to host super yachts.<\/strong> Beyond the structure of our piers, perfect even for large boats, Porto Mirabello is a Marina able to ensure an effective <a title=\"italian marina\" href=\"https:\/\/www.portomirabello.it\/en\/safety-in-porto-mirabello\/\">safety system<\/a> for the traffic of boats and passengers.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2002, just over a year after the attack on the Twin Towers in New York, under pressure from the United States, IMO &#8211; ISPS Code was issued. <strong>The new mandatory provisions issued to strengthen the protection of maritime transport<\/strong> envisage a set of security measures articulated on three levels whose concrete implementation is correlated to a careful risk analysis.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the new order for naval transport makes the <strong>identification of responsible parties<\/strong> mandatory for the correct application of safety measures both for ships and for port facilities.<\/p>\n<h2>The contents of the security plan of the port facility concern:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to the Port Facility: there is a strict control of access to port areas, to ensure both security and user safety<\/li>\n<li>Restricted areas<\/li>\n<li>Load handling<\/li>\n<li>Deliveries of on-board supplies<\/li>\n<li>Handling of unaccompanied baggage<\/li>\n<li>Surveillance and patrolling<\/li>\n<li>Security communication<\/li>\n<li>Training, information and familiarization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The program for Porto Mirabello is for <strong>commercial yachts over 500 gross tonnage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Porto Mirabello is one of the few, in the Mediterranean area, suitable to host super yachts.
