Wherever you land, the island welcomes you with its dazzling charm, made of sun, sea, woods, mountains, beaches and granite cliffs… a truly lush and magical nature. The turquoise color of the water in some places can be confused with the sky; there are so many spectacular scenery that the island offers.

Punta Nera
The beach is located in the most extreme part of the island on the west side.
It is perhaps one of the most admired and photographed places by anyone who travels the western ring of the Island of Elba. Just before arriving at Chiessi (arriving from Marciana, Colle d’Orano, Campo Lo Feno) at almost one hundred meters of sheer coastline, you can admire the bright and spectacular colors of the sea below.
Composed of mixed gravel, in color and size, the cove and its small beach can only be reached from the sea, so perfect for those seeking absolute tranquility and ideal for lovers of snorkeling.

Spiaggia di Cavoli
The beautiful beach of Cavoli is one of the most famous beaches of the Island of Elba. The clear waters, the sand and the mild climate make it one of the most sought after destinations. Consisting of grainy sand, the beach of Cavoli, more than 350 meters long and up to 25 meters wide, overlooks a beautiful cove surrounded by Mediterranean maquis and long cliffs that together with the shallow waters, contribute to the transparency of water.
It is divided in two by a short cliff, the smaller one to the west is free and frequented especially by those looking for a little ‘tranquility.
On the eastern side of Cavoli and accessible only by sea, you can visit the beautiful Blue Grotto, also called Sea Grotto. It is a truly spectacular place.

La Biodola
Starting from Portoferraio and continuing towards Procchio, in Capannone, you can admire one of the most fascinating and famous gulfs of Elba: that of Biodola.
The beach is a natural amphitheater consisting of the hills that surround it, covered with a thick coppice forest and Mediterranean scrub. The beach of Biodola is a glimpse of rare beauty: six hundred meters of fine golden sand, Mediterranean scrub that reaches the sea.
Biodola, which takes its name from a rush that grew on the dunes, is connected with a passage on the rocks to the nearby Scaglieri, very similar in characteristics.
To the left of the beach begins the beautiful “Path of Health” which, skirting the coast between tunnels and Mediterranean maquis, leads to two pristine beaches, that of Lamaia and Porticciolo and continuing until Procchio.

Sant’Andrea
Located in the north-western tip, the town of Sant’Andrea has several spectacular vistas and coves from a landscape point of view. Following the provincial road from Marciana Marina you can admire breathtaking views over the islands of Capraia and the distant Corsica. Sant’Andrea is an island of the island: granite, the predominant stone of which the Island of Elba is rich, gives it a unique color, the beach, although small (it is about 150 meters long and 10 meters deep), is characterized by a clear granite sand lapped by a turquoise sea.

Spiaggia del cotoncello
Just 1.2 kilometres from the town of Sant’Andre, the Cotoncello beach is a pearl of the Island of Elba, perhaps one of the smallest sandy beaches on the island, opens onto a spectacular inlet surrounded by smooth granite cliffs and frequented in summer for clean and transparent water.
Protected from the winds, the Cotoncello is a natural swimming pool, from which you can watch the beautiful sunsets of the entire island. It does not offer any service but is connected to the most equipped beach of Sant’Andrea by a beautiful pedestrian path partly excavated by hand in the granite cliff.

Fetovaia
In three points: Golden sand, granite cliffs, crystal clear water, this is Fetovaia. The beach is located in the south-western part of Elba, and is one of the most attractive destinations on the island. The magnificent natural context composed of granite rocks, gives the water different colors ranging from deep blue to light green, up to white Caribbean sand.

Marina di Campo
Located in the southern part of the island, Marina di Campo is one of the most famous resorts of the island. Considered the small Viareggio,it is full of attractions and typical restaurants where you can enjoy traditional recipes of Elba fish and the fruits of the surrounding woods.
The Tower of Marina di Campo, built in the Medicean period and the Church of S. Nicolò a S. Piero, which from the archaeological reliefs is believed to be already a place of worship, as it was built on the remains of a temple dedicated to the god Glauco in Roman times. Also worth visiting are the Tower of St. John and the Church of St. Francis on the road to Mount Perone and the Roman Columns in Seccheto.

   <rs-module-wrap id="rev_slider_209_2_wrapper" data-source="gallery" style="visibility:hidden;background:transparent;padding:0;margin:0px auto;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;">
    <rs-module id="rev_slider_209_2" style="" data-version="6.6.18">
     <rs-slides style="overflow: hidden; Making its way up from the sea climbs the beautiful Mediterranean maquis, up to 635 m above the sea of Punta Telegrafo.

The marine environment is certainly the most interesting part. The two tomboli, are in fact long sandy beaches sheltered by shady pine forests, relaxing and easy to reach. The peninsula is studded with alternating high cliffs with picturesque coves and beaches, wild and isolated, yet difficult to reach if not by sea. Magnificent places bathed in crystal clear waters.
The very rugged and rocky coast offers to diving fans, fantastic scenery: walls, caves, buckets, and ancient wrecks. The sea beneath these coasts are rich in life and traces of ancient history.
Argentario was known and frequented since ancient times (as evidenced by the remains of the Roman villa of Domizi Enobarbi in Santa Liberata), and has also preserved some “historical jewels” like the Spanish forts and the watch towers that at the time of the State of the Garrisons (XIV century) defended the territory from the attacks of the Saracen pirates.

From a tourist point of view, there is no shortage of attractions such as Porto Ercole. The small village surrounds the ancient port, with the traditional ‘gozzi’ characteristic. You can admire the Porta Pisana and within it the development of a maze of ancient alleys surrounded by walls.
To the northwest of the peninsula you can visit Porto Santo Stefano, where you can walk along the seafront designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. At the end of the promenade you will arrive in Piazza dei Rioni which, overlooking the small port, is defined by all the “living room” of Porto Santo Stefano. You can enjoy the view whilst sipping an aperitif in one of the many bars, or taste one of the typical dishes of the peninsula, such as the fish soup, known as “caldaro”, in one of the typical spots overlooking the sea, the relaxing atmosphere of this wonderful place will give you some truly pleasant memories.

Climbing the picturesque alleys and staircases of the historic center, you will reach the Spanish Fortress. The climb is quite steep and we recommend you walk in the evening, with a cooler climate. The effort will be rewarded by a spectacular view especially at sunset.

<div class="fusion-one-half fusion-layout-column fusion-column-last
